PHILADELPHIA – Youri Senden, Alessandro Capogna and Antonio Illuminato have all collected Philadelphia Soccer 6 awards for their performance on the pitch during the 2022 season. Senden was selected to the Soccer 6 All-Star team, while Capogna and Illuminato earned All-Rookie team honors.

Senden, once again, was a significant impact on the Drexel backline. The sophomore helped hold opponents to just a .102 shot percentage and a 1.13 goals-per-game average after posting 1,368 minutes played, second most on the team, during the regular season. Senden earned CAA First Team honors this season. His rookie campaign led to an All-Rookie pick and the All-CAA third team.

Capogna made his first year in NCAA competition count. The graduate student notched all possible minutes played this season and had a 1.06 goals against average. In addition, the goalkeeper pieced together a .763 save percentage.

Illuminato, also in his first year of NCAA competition, appeared in 15 games and started in 11. The Italian product scored three goals and tallied three assists to finish fourth on the Dragons in terms of points.
