Jenna is studying biological sciences at Drexel University College of Arts and Sciences and is also a Drexel Student Ambassador! Learn how Jenna welcomes prospective students to campus!
Q. What motivated you to join Drexel's Student Ambassador Team?
A. As I neared the end of my time at Drexel, I have had so many unique and amazing experiences and opportunities here. I really wanted to show that to prospective students and families what it is like to attend Drexel and live in Philadelphia. I also wanted to build strong connections to my fellow student ambassadors and faculty
.Q. What is your favorite part of being a student ambassador?
A. My favorite part of being a student ambassador is giving tours to perspective students and families. Not only do I love showing people around the campus, but I also love that each tour is personalized with my experiences and opportunities here at Drexel. Not only do I get to answer their questions, but I also get to show them what it is like to be a student here. Through tours, I've met so many new people from around the country and even the world.
Q. How do you balance your responsibilities as a student ambassador with your academics or extracurriculars?
A. In addition to my studies, I hold leadership positions in other clubs as well as manage multiple jobs on the side. Student ambassadors has a very flexible and coop/class friendly requirements. I am able to schedule my tours and events before or after my classes as to not miss anything. Although there are requirements to meet per quarter, it is not so many that I am overscheduled each week. I am able to pace myself throughout the quarter.
