The Drexel men's and women's lacrosse teams will begin their quest to return to the NCAA Championships this week at Vidas Field. Both teams qualified for their respective Colonial Athletic Association Championships and will be in action at home this week as Drexel will host both events.

The men's tournament begins on Thursday when the Dragons host top-seeded Delaware. The teams face-off at 4 p.m. Drexel is the fourth seed and the defending CAA champion. Third-seeded UMass faces second-seeded Towson at 7 p.m. The winners will meet for the CAA Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA's on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The CAA Women's Lacrosse Championships start on Friday afternoon at Vidas. Top-seeded Towson will meet Delaware at 4 p.m. In the nightcap, the second-seeded Dragons will host Hofstra, the third seed. The women's championship game will take place next Sunday at noon. Drexel was 10-7 overall this season and 4-2 in CAA play.

Tickets and parking information can be found by clicking here, by going to Drexeltickets.com or by calling 866-4-DREXEL. Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for youth 17 and under. CAA students at any of the participating school are admitted free with their college ID.

The Drexel men will be looking for their third CAA title since joining the league. The Dragons defeated Hofstra in the championship last season and also defeated the Pride in 2014. The women's team suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss a year ago in the CAA title game. The Dragons were awarded an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships for the first time. The women will be looking for their first CAA title.
